The people who run the hotel are very nice and welcoming
I thought i was booking the Hotel Del Sol next door,which is what I wanted, but hotel dahlem seems to be using their website ,,,very confusing indeed,

The only good thing about this place is the location, next to the American Consulate. There is nothing fancy about the breakfast, typical continental breakfast. They only have boil eggs on Sundays. I would not recommend this joint to my worst enemy. Suggest that you look around, as there are better places at more reasonable prices. The pictures in Bookings.com are deceiving.
This place is overpriced. The inside of the rooms is very old and could use some serious renovation. The mattresses are uncomfortable, you can feel the springs coming through you back. The parking gets muddy when it rains, as the parking lot has no asphalt/concrete. The owner told us we had to pay cash, if not we have to pay extra 3% credit card fees if paid with credit card. This is absurd, but can you expect from a socialist country???

very far from the city centrum, so you have to change 3 trains in order to ger there

bathroom too small and hot water was almost getting cold during bath. Needs repairing to have regular hot water in bathroom.
